United Bank Names Ronnie Burch as Jackson President
United Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Ronnie Burch to President of the Jackson bank division. Ronnie joined United Bank in February 2014 as a Commercial Lender and Vice President. With more than 35 years of banking experience, Ronnie has a strong background in commercial lending and business development. Prior bank experience includes Fulton Federal, First Community Bank, First State Bank and Hamilton Bank, all within the adjacent Henry County market.
CEO Jim Edwards commented “Ronnie has been instrumental in building our loan portfolio in the Jackson division since joining United Bank. He is a proven leader with an excellent record of building great relationships while serving his customers. This promotion is well deserved.”
Ronnie is a graduate of Georgia State University. He and his wife, Nancy, live in McDonough. They are active members of Faith Presbyterian Church. They have two children and one grandson. Ronnie has been a supporter of the Henry County Chamber of Commerce, the Quality Growth Council of Henry County, Fellowship of Christian Homebuilders, and various other community organizations throughout his career.
United Bank of Jackson’s former President, John Rainwater recently accepted the opportunity to become Division President of United Bank of Griffin. Jim Edwards commented, “This transition will be a smooth one for Rainwater as he is a Griffin native. John did a great job in the Jackson market and although we know he’ll miss his many customers and friends there, we are excited for him to have this opportunity to return to his hometown.”
