Interactive Teller Machines
United Bank has installed 24 Interactive Teller Machines (ITM) throughout its footprint in drive through lanes at each physical bank office. This state-of-the-art technology is provided through a partnership with NCR. United Bank was one of the first banks in the United States to provide this technology to its customers. The ITM service, referred to as Teller Now, provides a live teller via video technology from 7am until 11pm, seven days a week.
The customer pulls up to the Teller Now and presses the screen. The live teller appears in the screen to assist the customer with making account withdrawals, currency and/or check deposits, loan payments and transfers to/from accounts. The customer's receipt includes the image of any check deposited.*
The technology is ideal for consumer transactions, but complex business transactions or those with many items are not recommended. Coin cannot be deposited into the machine, but can be dispensed to the customer. A debit card is not used with the ITM machines. Customers should continue to use the ATM at each banking office for card-assisted withdrawals.
