Global Payments Breach: What You Need to Know
Global Payments Inc., a major payment processor for many businesses in the United States, announced last week that some 1.5 million cardholder records have possibly been breached. Investigations continue to determine which cards have potentially been threatened; United Bank is awaiting a list of card numbers from VISA. In the interim, we recommend that you watch your account via online banking and telephone banking carefully, and report any unauthorized transactions immediately.
