welcoming our newest customers in monroe county
United Bank and Monroe County Bank (MCB) announced the completion of their merger on July 31, 2014. Former Monroe County Bank customers should continue using their checks and debit cards as usual. There will be no changes in the bank’s services or processes until our conversion on Friday, September 12. A welcome kit will be sent to all customers during the week of August 11 with details regarding the transition.
We are notifying customers if a former MCB account number must change. See our online switch kit for assistance in preparing letters to send to your employer, insurance provider, or any company that currently sends automated deposits or drafts to your account. If you have questions, please call a former MCB bank office at (478) 994-1000 or our Call Center at (770) 358-7211. Our Call Center is available 7 days a week, from 7am until 11pm.
new ATMs now available in monroe county
With United Bank’s merger with Monroe County Bank, two ATMs have been added to the United Bank network, located in downtown Forsyth and Bolingbroke. We are in process of converting the ATMs to the United Bank system. United Bank customers may incur a terminal fee in the short-term. If you do, please contact us at (770) 567-7211 so that we may refund this fee.

Beginning immediately, we are requiring our customers to use their PIN for certain types of transactions. Do you know your debit card PIN? If you do not, we can help you.
