Running a business may be the most challenging job in the world, especially if it's your own
business built with your determination and perseverance. United Bank salutes small business
owners and managers, and offers these customers a unique line of products and services
designed to meet their financial needs.
United Bank offers several checking accounts to serve the needs of your business. From
analysis accounts to special interest bearing accounts, general operating accounts to tax
savings accounts, we have the account to suit you and your business.
Regular Business Checking is an excellent account to serve as your general operating
account with unlimited check writing. A low monthly balance of $500 guarantees no service
charge for the month. If your balance falls below $500, you pay $4.00 and $.15 per each
withdrawal over 20.
The Commercial Money Market account is an ideal way to invest your idle funds. This
interest bearing account allows for unlimited deposits and six (6) withdrawals per statement
cycle. It's a great way to put your money to work for you. See our rates table for current
interest rates.
The Commercial Interest Checking is available to sole proprietorships and pays interest
monthly on collected funds. Maintain a minimum daily balance of $1,000 for no service charges.
If your balance drops below $1,000 during the statement cycle, you pay $6.00 and $.15 per each
withdrawal over 20. See our rates table for current interest rates.
The Commercial Plus Account is an alternative to our Commercial Money Market account,
and is geared to commercial customers who maintain large idle balances in their operating accounts.
The account earns a higher interest rate and is subject to limitations. The commercial plus
account must be paired with a regular business checking account, and deposits must be made via a
transfer from the regular account. Withdrawals are limited to one per week, and must be
transferred into the regular business account. See our rates table
for current interest rates.
